GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 450385
Print Invoice functionality prints backwards
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:40:12 UTC
Please describe the problem: When printing anything from the windows version to my HP OfficeJet 5610xi or Microsoft Document Imaging driver, the output appears backwards and upside down. Instead of: The Mattern Group, you get puorG nrettaM ehT (with the malformed text printing upside down on the paper. (See http://www.nickmattern.com/windowsbug1.gif and http://www.nickmattern.com/windowsbug2.gif This happens with any printer/driver I use. I've tested on HP 8550dn and HP K550, same result. Print preview works and looks good. I've tried all options (and I do mean all) in the printer dialogue box with no good results. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create printable invoice 2. Print 3. Actual results: Sheet prints out the text, but it's backwards and upside down. Expected results: Print normally. I can't use this software if invoicing isn't included. Does this happen every time? yup Other information:
Is there a check box for "Advanced features" of your printer? (Printers&Faxes > Right click printer > Properties > Advanced/Extended > Advanced features or so... if this solves your problem, please give me the correct english terms :-)... would be a duplicate of bug 316531 then)
