Description Bruno Duyé 2007-06-20 12:48:51 UTC
- import photos from a folder WITHOUT selecting "copy photos to Photos folder"; so unique copy of photos are on the original folder.
- delete a photo from that forlder

f-spot still displays that photo.

Maybe should be usefull to add an option like "remove deleted photos from f-spot"

I guess this is a feature request kind of bug, isen't it?

I just wantet to file the very same one, so by adding this comment I signal my support to this request.

In http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449447 several ways of improving the "skim through photos and quickly delete unwanted ones" mode are discussed. I tried to solve this by externally deleting the files but than I still had them in f-spots index.

So I'd say either the one or the other ist an urgently needed feature. Both would be nice :-)

There's an extension on the work.

Another bug you might be interested in is Bug #312613.
