Description Scott Rippon 2007-06-19 05:06:46 UTC
Please describe the problem:
On my Windows 2000 SP2 desktop I have a number of shortcuts to current project folders. In the GIMP 2.2.15 when I go to open a file (Ctrl+O) and double click on one of these project folders (eg. 'Current projects.lnk') I get the following error message:

------------
GIMP Message
------------

GIMP Message

Opening 'C:\Documents and Settings\srippon\Desktop\Current projects.lnk' failed:

Unknown file type

[OK]

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open GIMP
2. Open a file (Ctrl+O)
3. Double click on a folder shortcut.

Actual results:
Receive the above error message.

Expected results:
Expect that when I click on the folder shortcut it follow the shortcut and shows me the contents of that folder.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
