Description David Christian Berg 2007-06-16 11:40:46 UTC
When sorting a threaded list by date, it is sorted by the _first_ message in the thread. Rather than that it should be sorted by the _last_ message within the thread, because otherwise when someone answers to an old thread, that message will be hidden somewhere deep down in the list.

Cheers!

David

which version is this about?
Comment 2 David Christian Berg 2007-06-17 10:18:30 UTC
2.10.2, but I don't think that's of any importance. It has always been that way ;)
Comment 3 André Klapper 2007-06-17 20:05:20 UTC
i first thought that the version is of importance because some threading issues have been fixed in 2.11.2/2.11.4, but unfortunately not this one i have to realize after re-reading.
in 2.11 in collapsed thread view the first message will be bolded and display the date/time of the latest unread message in the (collapsed) thread view. anyway, this is probably a duplicate of bug 203206.
