GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 446573
Double-clicking on a mail item opens a blank window
Last modified: 2008-05-20 11:14:36 UTC
Please describe the problem: If I open an email in a new window by double-clicking it, the resulting window is usually blank, but the email will show fine in the preview pane. Steps to reproduce: 1. Double-click an email to open it. 2. Watch how nice and white it is. 3. Sigh, and view the email in the preview window instead. Actual results: A blank window opens Expected results: I would expect to see the email in a new window Does this happen every time? No, but most times Other information:

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance!

Does it happen with any particular mail ? Can you please attach a sample mail after removing confidential information, thanks.
I have seen this quiet often with 2.12 . iirc, it was fixed already. I'll check and update.
