Description Anders Kaseorg 2007-06-11 07:29:04 UTC
The gnome-power-preferences sliders go from 11 minutes to 1 hour and “Never”. The lower limit of 11 minutes is arbitrary and silly; there’s no reason they couldn’t start at 1 minute. It’s quite reasonable, for example, for someone to want their laptop’s display to shut off after 1 idle minute on battery power.

Try lowering the idle time before your screensaver is started.
