Currently it is not possible to wrap the CollectPads functionnality in python bindings since the central structure used, GstCollectData, hasn't got a GBoxed definition.

Do we really want to wrap the beast that GstCollectPads is - rather than, say, wait for the GstMuxer baseclass to be ready?

that's one of the reason why I filed a bug and not fix it :) I needed feedback.

Let's do it for next releases... GstMuxer probably needs enough time to make a wrapped GstCollectPads useful ;)

Let's close this. If it's still needed for g-i bindings, someone will re-open/re-file it.
