Description Paolo Benvenuto 2007-06-04 14:20:11 UTC
If I put a bad url in the url bar, a message box tell me that the url isn't valid and cannot be loaded.

When I close the messagge box, however, the invalid url desappears from the url bar, and I cannot correct it.

Strangely, if I move to another tab and go back to the former, the "bad url" appears again.

I think that even if a url is bad, it should remain in the url bar in order to correct it.

The dialog you mention shouldn't appear in the first place, Epiphany should submit the query to Google. Probably this is a bug in the version you're running which is already fixed in SVN.
