Description Arcterex 2007-06-03 20:40:03 UTC
When re-ordering a newsgroup, it'd be great if Pan (0.131 ATM) could keep the view of the currently selected item. IE:

 - open a new group
 - sort by date ascending
 - select first posting (at top of list)
 - sort by date descending by hitting the date column
 - your selected item is now at the bottom of the list (or somewhere buried in the middle)

Desired results
 - on re-sort the list of postings view now would show the bottom of the list with your selected item visible (or if there are multiple selected items, the top of them).

This used to work in the .14.x series, it'd be great to have it back.
