Description eli 2001-09-10 00:45:14 UTC
Nautilus fails to display the default <http://www.desktop.com> bookmark (under
Web Services).

It gives an error dialog (attached, wrists are tired). Dunno if this is a
duplicate of 43438, but am filing separately, since it's a separate dialog.

Displays fine using standalone Mozilla M18 Linux.

www.desktop.com is crazy.
doing a "PROPFIND / HTTP/1.0" on the server give basically a random HTTP
response. I'm not sure what course of action can be taken here. It returns
random but garbage responses.

------- Additional Comments From bfrank@eazel.com 2000-10-31 09:41:00 ----

This is a good find...but Desktop.com is no longer a default bookmark...you
might want to check your static_bookmarks.xml file to see if you have the most
up to date version of the bookmarks.

We should try and handle with bug 44310 (but this seems like a really
pathologic case).

------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2000-10-31 10:32:59 ----

Amending subject. This is no longer a default; should this still be a PR2
blocker?

------- Additional Comments From bud@eazel.com 2000-11-01 00:04:57 ----

Works OK in latest build.

------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2000-11-01 19:57:40 ----

It does, but clicking any of the links at the top of the page immediately
crashes Nautilus in gnome-vfs (even though it works fine from Mozilla
Standalone).

Will mark this bug verified after forking that into a separate bug report.

------- Additional Comments From mjs@noisehavoc.org 2000-11-05 19:50:44 ----

Works fine now. Verified.
