Description Kandepu Prasad 2007-06-01 07:16:05 UTC
In mail message window (whether in new or reply or forward windows), we should be able to see the complete properties of the mail addresses in the To, CC, Bcc fields. Like double click on the mail address or right click and open a new "View Properties" window, which may display all contact, personal, organizational and mailing details.

This feature is already available in MS-Outlook.

this is possible in the composer, but not in the viewer
Comment 2 Srinivasa Ragavan 2007-06-05 05:34:28 UTC
Nice EPlugin hackfest material
Comment 3 André Klapper 2012-06-27 10:30:40 UTC
Same as https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=223111 but for composer
Comment 4 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:30:59 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
