Description dimaz.sertolovo 2007-05-29 08:41:22 UTC
Version 2.3.16 of GIMP was quite stable, but new 2.3.17 version is very unstable. I've edit two images in 10 minutes and there are 5 crashes with data loss =(

There were 3 layers with large size 10 MPix, after I maked gaussian blur on one of the layers I've crash:
***MEMORY-ERROR***: gimp-2.3[2629]: GSlice: assertion failed: sinfo->n_allocated
 > 0

(script-fu:2638): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: script-fu: wire_read(): error

and there were some other crashes with no debug info...
such as
gimp-2.3: fatal error: Segmentation fault

So you have troubles with memory, guys...

My system is Slackware 11 with Linux kernel 2.6.21.1
