Description of the crash:
gedit gives error dialog

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Have two tabs open
2. Select a few lines in the second tab
3. Paste into second tab by simultaneously pressing left+right mouse
buttons

Expected Results:
It pastes but after buttons are released it is stuck in select mode
The next click anywhere produces the crash.

Unknown version 2.14.4 in product gedit.  Setting version to "2.14.x".

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot
to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash.
Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see
