Description Ole Laursen 2007-05-23 12:17:09 UTC
I open an image dir with Eye of Gnome and look through it with next/previous picture. Kewl! But when I find an image that needs a bit of editing, I can't easily edit it with the GIMP (or other image editors if there were any). Instead I have to remember a cryptic digicam filename (DSCNxxxx), find it with Nautilus and open it.

Please add easy GIMP integration, e.g. just a menu item like "Edit with xxx". Or perhaps a drag'n'drop source so I can start the GIMP myself and drag it over.

Drag&Drop should work. Just drop the thumbnail onto GIMP's tool window.

The current development release in SVN trunk already features a menu item to open the image in other applications supporting the file format (bug 319859).
