Description Matthias May 2007-05-16 07:50:45 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When i open a DVI file, the file is correctly displayed, but the images (in eps format) are missing. When I open the same file in KDVI everything is displayed correctly.
When i use dvipdf Evince shows the images in the resulting .pdf .

Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert an .eps image into a latex file using [dvips]{graphicx}
2. Latex the file
3. View the resulting .dvi in Evince

Actual results:
The images are not shown, just boxes around them, as i would see using the draft mode.

Expected results:
The image should be shown. :)

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
