Description Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2007-05-16 07:15:07 UTC
I'mplanning to update the epiphany-extensions documentation, I seens some new extensions were added, and some was modified.
* Live HTTP Headers (new)
* Epilicious (new)
* Adblock (UI added)
Comment 1 Magnus Therning 2007-12-04 10:44:26 UTC
Sorry for taking so long to respond to this.

1. Enable the extension in the dialogue at Tools->Extensions...
2. Configure using the dialogue at Tools->Epilicious Configuration
   - “Name” -- username on the social bookmark site
   - “Password” -- password on the social bookmark site
   - “Tag” -- Tell epilicious what tag to treat as a special tag. The exact meaning of “special tag” is determined by “Action for tagged bookmarks” described below.
   - ”Backend” -- which social bookmark site to use, currently (2.20.x) there's support for del.icio.us and ma.gnolia.
   - “Action for tagged bookmarks” -- determines the meaning of the “special tag”, if set to “Include” then only bookmarks with the tag are synced to the social bookmark site, if set to “Exclude” then bookmarks with the tag aren't synced tot he bookmark site.

It should be noted that all options are mandatory and only a few of them have meaningful defaults.

Documentation corrections

Here is a patch with various corrections I made during translation of the manual in French. No new content though.
Comment 3 Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2008-04-05 19:12:47 UTC
the correction is fine for me; if someone with svn power could commit it.

thanks
Comment 4 Claude Paroz 2008-04-05 19:18:50 UTC
Thanks, committed.
Comment 5 Paul Cutler 2009-03-28 20:29:37 UTC
This patch was committed a year ago, and checking out epiphany-extensions from GNOME trunk, I see the changes in the help file.

However, when I view the help in the application for Epiphany on GNOME 2.24, I don't see these changes having taken affect (under Help -> Extensions).
Comment 6 Claude Paroz 2009-03-28 21:24:16 UTC
I probably applied the patch on trunk, and gnome-2-24 was branched from gnome-2-22 (trunk has to wait until webkit enters officially in GNOME).
Comment 7 Christian Persch 2009-03-28 21:41:34 UTC
Ok to merge to gnome-2-24.
Comment 8 André Klapper 2013-05-27 16:12:18 UTC
According to its developer, epiphany-extensions is not under active development
anymore. (For reference: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2013-May/msg00035.html and bug 700924.)

It is unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping - Please feel
free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility
for active development again.
