GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 4376
vscale orientation
Last modified: 2011-02-04 16:09:25 UTC
package: gtk+ version: 1.2.5 A vscale in my application is currently oriented so that the maximum value occurs when the slider is at the bottom. I'd like the maximum to be at the top. This appears to be a part of the design, as the RANGEWIDGETS.C example also behaves this way. If the orientation of a vscale is fixed, it seems that the maximum would naturally be at the top. But it really seems that the orientation should not be fixed, but should be configurable. I suggest an added feature to allow modifying the orientation - either MAXTOP or MINTOP.
