Description Thilo 2007-05-08 12:31:02 UTC
If you enter keywords and then type "cursor down" you can not select the addressbar again with Ctrl-L because the selection may stick at "web search". Therefore you have to work with the cursor keys.

I think it would be nice if Ctrl-L ALWAYS selects the content in the addressbar.

Confirmed.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-02-10 22:35:40 UTC
This could be a bug in GTK+, see bug #353623.
Comment 3 Thilo 2009-11-07 23:17:46 UTC
BTW, this is still an issue.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2009-11-10 14:32:28 UTC
Thilo: Please never set the GNOME target field. Thanks.

Works in 3.10 as far as I can see, the searchbar's entry stays focused so you don't even have to ctrl+L...
