What were you doing when the application crashed?
I was pressing a bunch of buttons trying to find a way to convert degrees to radians. I keyed in a number, changed from Eng to Sci and back, I pressed the recall, then the store, then mode, and it crashed. Hope it helps :-)

Duplicate of bug #354730. Fixed in gcalctool v5.8.25 (or later).
Included in GNOME 2.16.2 (or later).
