Description Evan Klitzke 2007-05-08 04:16:08 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If I browse my local DAAP share, sorting by track is completely broken. If I click on the track column, it appears to actually sort by artist, not by track.

Steps to reproduce:
The problem is reproduced by click on the Track column when browsing a DAAP share.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
The DAAP server is the mt-daapd nightly (mt-daapd-svn-1571), which was not compiled with avahi or howl, if that makes a difference.

I just noticed that track sorting is also broken for me for locally stored, music (but not _as_ broken). From what I can tell, track sorting is always broken on DAAP shares. It usually works for locally stored music, but sometimes that gives incorrect sorting as well. Perhaps in the case of locally stored music there is some junk in the track metadata field that is note displayed but used by the sorting algorithm? This still doesn't explain the broken DAAP sorting, however.

I can confirm this.
