Description Karl Lattimer 2007-05-02 15:28:58 UTC
After hearing horror stories of users storing items in the trash it occurred to me that sometimes emptying a trash folder could be a bad idea. Then the thought occurred that a feature could be added to prune trash items rather than simply delete them all.

For instance, as I delete something it enters the trash, I can then specify a time that it should be stored there before being removed completely, or possible a percentage of my HDD before the trash is pruned.

If an item has sat in the trash for 5 days or so, next time I log out that item will be pruned off, leaving the most recently deleted items behind.
