Description Nicholas Allen 2007-05-01 10:14:38 UTC
Currently rhythmbox uses its own library format and scanning code. Distributions are now starting to ship with tracker that is a high performance indexer that can index many kinds of files. It is a waste of resources and effort to have this duplicated and it would be nice if rhythmbox had an option to use tracker to manage the library instead of its own mechanism.
