Description Carlos Eduardo Rodrigues Diógenes 2007-04-30 17:41:00 UTC
After the application of the patch in bug #416911, gnome-mag can be controlled by Orca with composite support, but when started throw Orca, the magnifier screen get's entirely black and when you start to use the desktop some tooltip trash start to pop in the magnifier screen.

If the Orca source display is configured to ':0.0' the magnifier works okay.

Expected behavior:
The magnifier must magnify correctly with or without the source display field filed in Orca.

This happen every time.

correct the problem

this patch correct how the composite is re-inited when the magnifier source display is changed. It's also use the DISPLAY variable when a source/target display passed is NULL.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.

This must also be fixed in head, but since the X11 support has been refactored, the patch is silly different, so I will leave this bug ref still opened... soon a pretend to provide a patch suitable for HEAD.
