Description Eddy Petrişor 2007-04-30 09:50:21 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Due to Debian bug 416563 I have two icons for the encripted partition I have on my
computer.

Gnome-commander shows both of these icons with huge icons. See the image at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=421480;msg=5;filename=gc-icons-bug.png;att=1 .

Gnome-commander should make sure the icons are restricted to have a
resonable size, compared to the other icons in the buttons bar (or maybe the row size should be used).

Steps to reproduce:
1. make sure you have some partitions on a harddisk mounted and showing up on the desktop
2. start gnome-commander
3. make sure the buttons bar is enabled

Actual results:
Huge icons appear.

Expected results:
Icons should be resized at reasonable size, maybe in corelation with the row height.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
This is Debian bug 421480.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.

Does the fix also includes size restrictions in the drive selection combo? I have this problem, too.

(Sorry for not being clear in the initial report, a set of icons that do not have small icons for usb disks were necessary).

Both toolbar and combo icons are handled by the same code. This should fix your problem too.

Cool, thanks for fixing both issues (although it sounds as it was a "2 for the price of 1" deal :-) )
