Description martinvisser99 2007-04-29 08:03:39 UTC
Often (particularly using a web browser like firefox) you wish to save a file (say a download) in different directory from the default presented. However mostly you do not want to overwrite the filename. If you use the horizontal) directory icons in the GtkFileChooser to move up and down the directory tree in some circumstances the file chooser seems to override the default file name with another file name it find in the directory. There is no way of recovering the original intended filename without cancelling the save dialog and starting again (possibly saving the filename in the clipboard for pasting over the file name later)
