GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 434177
gtk-doc should fail for undocumented/unused symbols on make check
Last modified: 2007-06-06 06:43:20 UTC
I've found it hard to keep documentation of fast-changing code up-to-date. (In this case: swfdec) It would be nice if gtk-doc would add rules to gtk-doc.make to automatically fail on make check if there's still undocumented or unused symbols.
It probably needs to be somehow conditional, as it would probably break a lot of projects. On the otherhand we already have a need for gtk-doc to generate projects gtkdoc.make dynamically (see Bug #156643).
Isn't bug 383456 the same bug? (well, it doesn't mention unused symbols)
Good catch. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 383456 ***
