Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Hmm. I've just been trying to reproduce this with later versions of evince (0.7.1 and 0.8.1 specifically, with the 0.5.4 poppler - see Help->About for details on your poppler versions) and I can't seem to get it to crash with that document. Can you try upgrading evince and see if this goes away? Also, it looks like the crash is inside poppler (the library evince uses to do pdf rendering), so upgrading that will probably help.
