Description David C. Oshel 2007-04-24 17:55:38 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The highlighted menu item is blank. This is only true in Vista. Works fine in Windows XP.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run GIMP.
2. Open a program that opens a window.
3. File -> Acquire -> Screen Shot... will all have white rectangles, no text

Actual results:
As described

Expected results:
Normal highlighted menu item. I rank this bug higher than "Minor" because in a complex or unfamiliar menu system, the feedback is more than just very helpful.

Does this happen every time?
In cases n, n+1, n+1+1, n+1+1+1, ... yes

Other information:
Only applies to Vista. YMMV, please test this on a consumer Vista, e.g., Compaq Presario V6101US running Vista Home Premium when it should be running Vista Basic.

Most likely a problem with the theme engine. Please try if this does happen with other GTK+-based applications as well, and reassign to GTK+ if it does.
