Ian, Maciej tells me it's OK to doom you with these FTP bugs.  Can you fix them
for PR3 or will some have to slip to 1.0?

This is related to bug 41463 which is bug which is currently flagged as "after
1.0.1".

For FTP we're currently using gnome-vfs's built in ls parser, which evolved from
mc's ls parser. When I solve this family of bugs I'll write an ls parser that is
much more flexible.

Agree that this should be moved to "after 1.0.1" with all the other bugs
relating to rewriting the ls parser.
