Description wolfspider 2007-04-20 20:33:23 UTC
Please describe the problem:
every time I log on to gnome the desktop icons are in different places.
Work around is to disable desktop icon view and leave the desktop blank using gconf-editor

Steps to reproduce:
1. log on to gnome

Actual results:
Icons are not in any defined order

Expected results:
If I log off and save the session and log back on the icons should be in the same place as before.

Does this happen every time?
yes
