The bug has been described on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/106013

"When you customize the Task View by multiple sorts; sortings are not saved when loading Evolution next time. I suspect that Evolution only saves one column's sorting preference...

evolution task sorting
...
I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 Beta; and Evolution 2.10.1

I you right click on the Task headers, you will get an option as "Customize Current View", and there you will find a button named [Sort...] when you click it you will get a dialog where you will be able to sort tasks by multiple columns; When you sort by multiple columns and apply sorting works fine, but if you close Evolutions and reopen all the sortings will be gone..."

I will mark this as a duplicate of bug #340748, because the patch there solve this issue as well. I know, this is for other component, for other part, but it's the same issue like there.
