GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 429375
Evolution will not fetch new mail after initial connection to Exchange Server
Last modified: 2008-06-07 05:21:44 UTC
Please describe the problem: I'm running Ubuntu Edgy and use Evolution to connect to an Exchange Server for mail. When Evolution starts, new mails are indicated, and i can see and open the new mails. After a while i still get notifications for new mail in my mailbox, but when i open the Inbox there are no new mails there. I have to restart Evolution to be able to see and open the newly arrived mails. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Evolution and connect to an Exchange server 2. Wait for a while 3. Try to fetch new mails and try to open them Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: Bugs that look like this one have been filed before, in the Gnome Bugzilla and on bugreport systems of Ubuntu and Fedora. However, this involves older versions of Evolution in which this bug seems fixed. I can confirm this bug. But new mails are not fetched for me, only after i toggle between Offline and Online states. Happens on trunk dated today. Raising the priority of this bug and changing the Evo version.
http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/evolution-exchange?view=revision&revision=1627 this fixed it for me. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 442098 ***
