Description Roland Arends 2007-04-10 21:03:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Im using Ubuntu with Gnome Desktop. I installed so many Games on my System that I had to scroll thru the menu. To work around this I created some new folders for logical games, arkade games, card games, racing games....

This worked very well. But moving the games into this new folders was not always possible. My way to move it was a left Klick on the right side and moving it via drag and drop to the folder on the left side.

In my Opinion the reason for this is simply a blank (=space) in the items name. This means names like "Blackjack", "Tetris" or "Solitaire" will work fine. Item Names like "FreeCell Solitaire", "Planet Penguin Racer" or "Monster Masher" will not be moved

Steps to reproduce:
1. move menu item "FreeCell Solitaire" into a subfolder in the same menu tree
2. move menu item "Planet Penguine Racer" into a subfolder in the same menu tree
3. move menu item "Monster Masher" into a subfolder in the same menu tree

Actual results:
nothing will happen

Expected results:
the menu item should be added to the subfolder

Does this happen every time?
no. In my Opinion it only happens when a space is in the menu items name

Thank you for all you are doing to keep open source software alive!
