GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 427489
X-Face Not Displaying
Last modified: 2007-04-10 15:21:59 UTC
Please describe the problem: I have created a new x-face. It does not parse or display properly. Other newsreaders (XNews, 40-Tude Dialog, Knode) see the image correctly. Please see the screenshot at: http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/suse/2007/20070411_pan_x-face.jpg The x-face is: [#&m="qs}v;=e4vQ%gf,HU|H;uMwh`h<4$&JT4;?=YH`MroP{kak+VrU%2SW?\wg:{g.Oy %x_u4!*UtZ>ppL#+H:=+KDvfkN/LI8#wu?3H>^5PURJwm1>*BJ?XS_%x5h"Xk[51(En6%u y9I|Tui,]ayBV#n>:sB.,& Steps to reproduce: 1. Send above-listed X-Face 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
what version of gmime do you have installed?
Also, what OS are you using?
The OS is SUSE 10.1. I am using gmime 2.2.1-10@586
The problem is that Pan has a problem with multi-line headers. If you put the X-Face header all on one line, it will display perfectly.
Bill: yes, I know *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 393589 ***
It turns out there was an extra space in the x-face. For some reason, XNews, 40-Tude Dialog, and KNode all saw the x-face, but Pan didn't. I took out the space and Pan sees the X-Face now.
