Description leo 2007-04-05 18:26:06 UTC
Currently, podcasts are downloaded into folder in the music library directory, which is defined in the preferences. For example, my music directory is ~/Music/, so my podcasts download to ~/Music/Podcasts/. The problem with this is that podcasts are not always music, and users may not want their podcasts saved with their music. Podcast files are also imported in to the Music Library within Banshee, which can cause a podcast to be played when playing music on random.

I think users should be given the ability to download podcasts to a different directory. Downloaded podcasts should also not be accessible from the Music Library view, but only when browsing podcasts.
