Window manager warning on window_present on startup

The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/99461 "Binary package hint: evince Description of the problem: Starting evince makes metacity print a warning in ~/.xession-errors . Steps to reproduce: 1. Start a gnome-terminal . 2. In the gnome-terminal type tail -n 0 -f ~/.xsession-errors . 3. Start evince . Expected results: Nothing to be printed on the terminal. Actual results: Window manager warning: Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0 for 0x3400003 (Evince Doc) Window manager warning: meta_window_activate called by a pager with a 0 timestamp; the pager needs to be fixed. How reproducible is the problem? The problem is reproducible every time. Version information: Ubuntu Feisty evince 0.8.0-0ubuntu1"

This problem actually should be fixed with patch from attachment 48884 [details] [review] from bug 166379 So I wonder why it still exists.
Sure we can create workaround for this issue, but I suppose it's better to fix it in gtk. The main issue is that gtk_window_present still uses zero timestamp just because there were no user interaction yet.
