PNG thumbs in nautilus 2.18.x are displayed without border and shadow effect, while all other kind of graphics file are showned correctly..

Again, the information text (file name) is placed nearly the bottom side of the thumbs.

Gnome 2.18.0 from scratch - libpng 1.2.16
Xorg 6.8.2 with standard radeon video driver - No direct rendering

Do those PNG files have a transparency layer? If they do, this is a duplicate of bug 355107.

I confirm that the problem is related to the transparency layer.. If I remove transp. layer from picture and save again as png the thumbnails is created with border and shadow effect like all others..

Sorry If I didn't check before if a similar bug was reported...
