Steps to reproduce:
1. Try to load a file from my camera.
2. Windows says jpeg.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
3. Gimp says Plug-in crashed: jpeg.exe

Maybe a libexif problem, dup of bug 381182 ?

Yep, looks like it. Sorry, I think I searched for "jpeg.exe" which didn't find that bug. You should close this one. I can still email some images to help debug the problem if they'd help. Regards, Nev.
