Description Jon Dodson 2007-03-30 18:17:15 UTC
I am using Rhythmbox 0.9.8 I compiled from source.

1.) It would be nice if, like iTunes, you could drag album art to the default "we have no art for this album/song" image. I have many albums that are missing art online and some that pull down the wrong album art. Its not really that intuative to view the rhytmbox directory, understand the image format and change the album art name to that.

2.) It may also be useful if it scanned the music directory for a piece of art as well. That may be trickier if you have a few jpg or png files, so a selector might be nice but it would take longer to add that feature for sure.

Thanks for the awesome program!

Doesn't it do this already? My "cover.jpg" files are detected automatically. Which version are you using? I think this was just made more robust recently.

I am now using 0.10.0.

I didnt know that it checked for cover.jpg I looked in the Rhythmbox docs and didnt see that bit. Perhaps it could be a setting in the album art area, then at least you would know it existed.

1°) Rhythmbox 0.11.3 "Splinter" allows drag-and-drop of images to the cover art display

2°) Rhythmbox 0.9.6 "Live from the shores of lake Burley-Griffin" loads local cover art

It seems that these bugs are not bugs anymore

Indeed.
