Description Hussam Al-Tayeb 2007-03-27 23:50:17 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Rhythmbox hangs when buffering internet streams with crossfading enabled. It works fine with crossfading disabled.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a random internet stream from shoutcast.com such as http://65.78.188.74:8010
2. The stream should play fine.
3. Enable crossfading and restart rhythmbox.
4. Try to play the same stream.

Actual results:
Rhythmbox buffers 32kb and then hangs.

Expected results:
Rhythmbox should play the buffered bits and not hang.

I can't reproduce this with Rhythmbox r5350.

The stream you mentioned seems to be dead, but playing a random stream from shoutcast with the crossfading backend enabled seems to work fine for me.

I'm pretty sure this has been fixed. Please reopen if you still experience this problem.
