Watching a stream from http://player.omroep.nl/?aflID=4230939&md5=79765ba1a15ddd0395337a4acc44e8fd
Tried to open it using the right mouse button --> Open with "Movie Player".
Crash occurred.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot
to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash.
Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see
http://www.gnome.org/projects/totem/#bugs for more information on how to do so.

To be honest: it's not that big a problem for me. Not big enough to put more (compiling/debugging) energy into it.

I did some more investigating though, and noticed a couple of things:
- the crash doesn't occur if Totem is already opened (but it will crash when it's newly created from Firefox)
- the crash doesn't occur if I use gstreamer instead of xine (Ok, I don't have any picture with gstreamer, but it doesn't crash).

So this is starting to look more like a xine problem...
