Description Greg 2007-03-25 21:33:57 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to System --> Log Out or System --> Shut Down
2. "Log out of this system" dialog box comes up just fine. Upon clicking "Log Out" button, dialog box stays but system stops responding.
3. Note: If you eventualy click the close "X" in the upper right corner of the dialog box, you will get a message that application "" is not responding, force quit?

Other information:
(I have seen a handful of Google results with people having the same problem but no fixes to date. If you can provide some additional steps or logs to review I will be more than happy to look at them)
Note: I have done a full uninstall and reinstall of GNOME and GDM which did not resolve the issue.

That's probably something like bug 333870. Hard to know what's happening, so hard to fix.
