What were you doing when the application crashed?
The application crash each time I do gunzip a log file and try to open it. 
Opening .gz files is supposed to be supported but I get an error message mentioning that the file is not a log file. (dpkg.log.3.gz,... )

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but the maintainers need more information to fix the bug. Could you please answer the questions in the other report in order to help the developers?

please install libgtk2.0-0-dbg and libglib2.0-0-dbg debugging packages.
