Please describe the problem:
This is a known problem, of course and I looked at the faq and it seems I have a problem with at least one of the fonts.

How to identity the fonts which is the cause of the problem?

What is strange is that if I reinstall Gimp, the first launch is ok, this only after that it locks for a quite long time on Fonts at start.

Since this is a known problem, it might have been a better idea to ask for help on the mailing-list. The problem is already reported in our bug-tracker and it doesn't make sense to have multiple reports of the same problem.
