Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

So far this is limited to Mandriva only, could be caused by one of their patches. please follow comment #1

Could any of the reporter install ORBit2.0-debug, glib2.0-debug, GConf2-debug, gnome-panel-debug, libbonoboui-debug and libbonobo-debug packages from 2007.1/debug_main/release repository (from any MandrivaLinux ftp mirror) and submit a new stacktrace (if you can reproduce it easily) ? Are anybody of the reporters NOT using metisse ? (I'm seeing one is). Could you describe which applets are on your panel ? Thanks you.

From bug 443392: I was adding applets to the panel. After some work i found that the gnome sensors applet locked down the panel. I had to disable metissa to get the panel to remove the applet. I still can't use the applet without it crashing
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance! (Since bugzilla policy for bad_stacktrace is now to mark as INCOMPLETE. Mass changing all of these. Search for "dieguito-doing-incomplete-spam" to delete all this from your inbox.)
