GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 41763
Implement special background for search results
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
In the search meeting, we decided search results should have a special background that cannot be customized (maybe tiled faded magnifying glasses or something) to make clear that this is a special view; this task is about putting in the designed background and making sure it can't be customized ------- Additional Comments From mjs@noisehavoc.org 2000-07-24 18:43:07 ---- adding dependency on graphic design text ------- Additional Comments From arlo@workthatmouse.com 2000-07-25 17:39:08 ---- I have the initial design done... we can go over implementation issues tomorrow when I'm in the office. ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2000-08-16 09:44:53 ---- The work here is 1/2 to make the background for search results be hard-coded and make it not look at the metadata to figure out what background to use. Mike Engber had to do something similar for the desktop view; you might want to look at how he did it. The other 1/2 is to actually put in the background that Arlo designed. Presumably someone has gone over this design with him since Arlo said he was ready to go over it weeks ago. If not, you'll have to get it from Arlo. ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2000-08-17 18:03:39 ---- Arlo says that we decided we don't need this for 1.0. ------- Additional Comments From eli@eazel.com 2000-10-16 18:59:59 ---- Batch-assigning QA ownership of Search Interface bugs to Josh Barrow. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:33 ------- Bug depends on bug(s) 41762 41963.
I don't see how this is different from #41762
