Description David Prieto 2007-03-10 09:08:07 UTC
This bug was first filed on launchpad:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/80220

"If I open the image collection, select several images and try to print them, I expect all of the selected images to be printed - but only the active one is printed.

This behaviour not only breaks my expectations, it renders many of the options in the printing dialog useless - the "pages per sheet" option, the "print only"... well, actually those two are the only ones I can come up right now.

However, printing several images at once is the only thing I need Gthumb for today, and it's important to me in order to save paper. Should what I'm asking for be implemented, EOG would fulfill all my image needs. So I really hope it is".

Thanks for your time.

Are there any plans to solve this? It is very unintuitive to tell eog to print, see a dialog that includes "All Pages" selected and then see a single image being printed out. I was trying to convert a bunch of pictures to a single pdf file and ended up having to do it with "convert" on the command line.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/eog/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
