Currently the Gnome desktop will reflect an inserted floppy or CD-ROM. 
When the Nautilus Desktop is run, this functionality is lost.

We now can recognize the follwoing formats: ISO9660, Ext2 and Floppy.
The desktop is update when devices are mounted and unmounted.  A UI has to be 
created for deling with floppies, because polling for a floppy mount causes th 
e drive light to flicker.  More UI works needs to be done on the desktop and 
bugs will be entered after I read Arlo's desktop spec.
