Description Jonatan 2007-03-07 19:49:38 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
Does not change the duration of an recurring appointment.

Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy)
Gnome Release: 2.16.1 2006-10-02 (Ubuntu)
BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0
Comment 1 Akhil Laddha 2007-03-08 10:01:07 UTC
You can do that but it requires two steps :-)
You have an appointment for duration 8 pm to 9 pm.Now you want to change it for duration 8:30pm to 9pm.First change start time from 8pm to 8:30pm and due to this your end time will change to 9:30pm.So again change end time to 9pm and save it.

Does not work. I can change the start time, but not the end time. This problem is just for recurring appointments, regular appointments work without problems.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2007-03-08 17:39:15 UTC
i also just run into it on 2.9.91, confirming.
the "save" button does not get activated, one has to click into another field first. this happens with every kind of appointment.

open an existing (non-all-day) appointment
click into the end time field
mark some digits and change them
realize that the save button does not get enabled.
Comment 4 Jonatan 2007-03-08 17:48:40 UTC
this is not the problem. i know that i have to leave the end time to update. the problem is, when i change the end time for a recurring appointment, after saving, it asks if i want to change all instances. if i mark to change all instance, no instance is changed, the end time remains unchanged.

May be you are saying for this bug

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329573.
Comment 6 Jonatan 2007-03-09 14:32:30 UTC
It is similar, but not the same bug. Some differences:
1. It is an appointment, not an event.
2. If I change the subject, it works. Just the end time does not work.
3. No appointment is changed at all, even the one being altered.
