GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 414984
crash in CD/DVD Creator: The first bug buddy wind...
Last modified: 2007-03-05 20:22:10 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? The first bug buddy window that opened said that there was a problem with CD/DVD Creator, however I wasn't running CD/DVD Creator when it crashed (I don't recall using it at all on this machine). I was however running Soundjuicer, which still appears to be running ok (perhaps a resource is shared by the 2 apps). What did happen just before the Bug Buddy warning window is that the file browser Nautilus 2.16.1 locked up when I was accessing files on another machine (also running Ubuntu 6.10) on my network. I had some strange permissions settings occurring on some of the folders I created on this machine and moved to the other, in that they were showing up as locked and the owner to be "nobody". I was about to shut down Nautilus and open a terminal when the crash occurred.
